The annual Fun Run/Walk is hosted by The Exhbition Pub & Restaurant on London Road. The route is just under 4 miles and passes Gatehouse Estates’ office on the way out to Portholme.

The event is held as part of The Exhibition’s fundraising efforts for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Last year there were over 70 runners but this year there will be less focus on winning times and more emphasis on FUN. Phillip Malley of Gatehouse Estates who has taken part for several years would like to see more people in fancy dress and walking with kids.

The entrance fee is only £5 for adults, £3 for kids and all of it goes to Macmillan.

The Exhibition will have live music in the garden afterwards so everyone can make a day of it.
